Zuckermann Flemish Double - Two weeks and counting....SOLD !

4661 RI

An opportunity to acquire an instrument-  potentially good gig/concert instrument at a VERY low price….

Zuckermann Flemish double 8’8’4’ buff with registers thru the cheek.  Transposing 415/440.  Painted dark red with gold banding and cream panels in the key well and lid.  Keyboard GG-d”’ of ebony and bone with arcades.   The instrument sits on a straight leg trestle stand.

Probably the most successful design of all of the Zuckermann offerings, the instrument is owned by a professional musician and some years back was in regular concert use.  I have had the opportunity to see the instrument this week and note that there has been structural failure of the cheek/bentside joint with resulting cheek cant of about 1/2”.  That being said, the registers are working and I’d expect that the instrument can be brought back with some skilled shop work—probably about three days to have it up and running with existing plectra and stringing.

This instrument is located in Wakefield, RI ( 45 minutes south of Providence).  THE OWNERS ARE MOVING AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER, AND THE INSTRUMENT MUST BE OUT BEFORE THAT.  SO, PRICING IS AT $4200/OFFER FOR IMMEDIATE PICK-UP.

9/28/24 ~ THIS INSTRUMENT HAS BEEN SOLD.
