Double manual harpsichord in the French style by William Dowd 1977, Opus 356. Full chinoiserie case decoration by Sheridan Germann. Painted soundboard by Sheridan Germann. FF-f"’ transposing A415/A440; 8’, 8’, 4’, buff, with shove coupler. Registers controlled by hand stops. Ebony covered keyboards with bone topped ebony sharps. Platform stand in the style of Louis XVI with full gilding to the stand and fluted legs. Case decoration to all sides of the instrument, interior and exterior of lid and fall board. Padded non matching adjustable artist bench, tools and padded cover included.
