Based on an anonymous 17th Century Italian harpsichord in the Nuremburg collection, this instrument of 49 notes (C-c"') speaks at 4' pitch with two choirs and is transposing. Strung in brass and iron with case of beautifully crafted
yellow cedar, cherry detailing, and keyboard of yellowheart with ebony sharps. Wood jacks, and Dal Cortivo hand-cut parchment rose. (47" x 30" with 6 1/4" octave).
