Kingston double after Dumont. ~ Sold ~

This is a French double after Nicolas Dumont built in  1973  by masterbuilder Richard Kingston with recent ( 2020) revoicing and regulation by Kingston.  Ebony and bone keyboard-  FF-g”' 8'8'4' with buff stop.  The instrument is triple transposing to 392/ 415/ 440 HZ.  There is a full soundboard painting  by Sheridan Germann after Nicholas Dumont board as well as a full lid painting after Watteau.  The case is painted in two tones of grey and sits on a full Louis XVI platform stand (gold leaf) with fluted and gilded legs.  The instrument has a second lid with simple gold banding.  There is a padded cover and a leg bag for transport.  

Carrying a full and impressive sound, this instrument has been professionally owned, concertized and recorded.  It is currently located in Los Angeles and is ready for your inspection.  Offered at $28,000.
