Unfretted Clavichord by John Challis, Opus 295 from 1966. Mahogany case with tapered leg trestle stand. GG-f"' at 440 HZ. Elaborate brass hinges and the Challis signature cast frame and aluminum soundboard. These instruments require no maintenance and will provide a lifetime of musical enjoyment. 58" x 17" with a 6 1/4" octave. This was a university professor's office instrument, and our photos show the instrument in its arrival condition. Offered at $7500.
