The Harpsichord Clearing House GALLERY contains probably the largest collection of offered harpsichords, virginals, clavichords, fortepianos and positiv organs in the United States. All of these instruments are available for your inspection in our Rehoboth Massachusetts facility. If appropriate, these instruments will be completely rebuilt by our shop and carry a 5 year warranty for materials and workmanship.
The Harpsichord Clearing House's COMPLETE LIST contains the most comprehensive, global listing of harpsichords, virginals and clavichords for sale--used and new. Each instrument bears a number and state or country code denoting its location. These are electronic listings and generally we have not inspected these instruments. However, if the number is followed by "HCH" it's located in our Massachusetts facility --and has been fully rebuilt.
Hosted by HCH, we offer for historical keyboard instruments for sale in Europe. Special terms are offered for European listings ( currently a flat fee of $100. usd, with no commission), and inquiry from professional builders is encouraged!
Our intention is to connect European buyers with European sellers. However, we've added a few of our most interesting instruments that are here in the USA in our gallery.

Begun in 1995 and after completion of 57 continuo organs, we are retiring the design of this organ and will not longer take orders. We’ve had a fabulous time with these instruments and would be delighted to see any of them back in the shop for rebuild.

HCH has been building and brokering continuo instruments since the mid-80's. We are the US representatives for Klop, Netherlands offering the work of this world renowned builder.
