Full raised chinoiserie on black exterior background and on vermillion interior background  The stand in the style of Louis XV with a matching bench

The soundboard painted in polychrome tempera with flowers and arabesques. The rose or sound hole surrounded by the painted inscription "Milan Misina Oxford" and inset with a device of King David playing the harp flanked by the initials "M M".

The five octave keyboards, FF to g''', transpose 1/2 step, 415/440. The naturals covered in ebony, the sharps of teak or rosewood covered in bone, the arcaded keyfronts of boxwood.

Registration is 8' x 8' x 4', with buff stop. There are three registers of wooden jacks, presently quilled in celcon.

Length of harpsichord 92 inches, width 38 1/4 inches, height on stand 36 3/4 inches. Length of stand 93 1/2 inches, width 39 inches.
