Spectacular German double manual harpsichord by Hubbard & Broekman 2002, This is the larger of the German double offered by the Broekman shop and has the full organ-like sonic qualities of these instruments. Upper manual 8', lute, Lower manual 16' 8' 4' buff with dogleg coupler. Handstops throughout, FF-f"' transposing keyboard of ebony & bone. - Wood jacks (beech w holly) Delrin plectra. Full Board painting. Painted case Black exterior case, red interior with gold banding and moldings. The keywell surrounds are veneered with locking fall board. Turned leg trestle stand and matching bench. Full padded cover. Recently updated by Hendrik Broekman. Dimensions: 109" x 40 with a 6 1/2" octave.
